Hi Guys!!! First of all I would like to apologize for being late to submit my opening statement. It is not a lack of passion but sickness that makes it hard to sit here typing through tears, but as no extensions are granted I will tough through it.I joined this game hoping I wouldn't know many people. I wanted away from the familiar clicks, and outward judgement that followed the same groups from game to game. I was happy I mostly found this here. Kalahari has been an amazing and fun experience for me regardless of the outcome.
The game structure was something new to me. It was like Big Brother meets Survivor meets Russian Roulette Chaos!!! First of all being social in a game that may not tribe was what I felt everyone worried about. I was lucky to be a part of the trinity. Anthony excelled in challenges, and built life long bonds, where I took the more laid back approach in competition (not to say Anthony wouldn't have still smoked my ass lol) and relied on my social bonds.
Jen always referred to it as my Yau Magic!! The ability to sweet talk the vote away from the trinity and onto to virtually anyone else. With no tribes for most of the game, and Deception Valley full of chaos it was somewhat easy to work with peoples insecurities. I never want anyone one to feel that what game moves were made in light of the trinity does not shadow the fact on a personal level I hold every conversation dear. My main reason for playing orgs is to venture out and meet new people. I think this game has given me some life long friends, as cheesy as it may sound.
In the game many things happened that we all have our "versions" of. I will not fill my opening statement from start to finish with my game, as I think its better saved for questions you all may have. I am sorry for those of you who were hurt personally, most of what was done was to protect the trinity, or bonds that were unexpectedly formed down the road. I hope when this journey ends, that what happens in Kalahari can stay in Kalahari!!
Thanks Yau Jess
