I feel like I fell into a bog and woke up an hour later... so these aren't going to be anything spectacular.
I will post all of your entries at the archive site after I post Tribal. That way, you can all see each others' work!
So two people didn't do the challenge. Richard posted in advance that he's attending something awesome and wouldn't be able to do this challenge, so he's excused. Penner had to attend a wedding, and we all probably know just how hectic wedding weekends are. I don't see a reason to give him a self-vote because he came to me about it, so I will excuse him as well.
I completely expect both of you guys to do the next challenge in some form, even though this next one is CRAZY.
Anyway, results time!
We got 5 judges so these are out of 250 points.
In last place...
ANGIE
Who got a series record low 6 out of 250 points! That's the lowest anyone has ever scored on a creative challenge, and the people who haven't done them would have scored better than you! Your extremely rude, condescending attitude and desire to only put something crappy together to "save yourself from a self-vote" is getting you another reaming. That's what you wanted, right?
Now, onto the people who actually did the challenge.
Jen scored 83 points. Her picture was seen as sloppy due to her lack of artistic talent, and her argument didn't fit the image. Elephant carcasses... didn't really work for us, sorry Jen :/
In sixth place... a fair deal more than Jen...
CHELSEA
146 points!
We liked your argument, but your image was just a little too simple, and the text was a bit fuzzy. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it wasn't bad, either.
In fifth...
BRENDA
152 points! We liked your idea, but it wasn't executed as beautifully as it could and felt rushed - the crop jobs were iffy, and it didn't do enough to make it stand out in comparison to the others.
181 points! We liked your video, but the editing made it hard to follow, and DD and I are friends here... not foes. It was very well-done, but it felt like you were trying to do too much. GREAT effort, though!
Third place...
COURTNEY
She got 192 points. Her idea was inventive and her sales pitch was good, even with the URL at the bottom feeling out of place.
So that leaves Shawna and... of course... Anthony
Shawna, we felt that yours was simplistic and your explanation sells it well. It looks really pretty, realistic, and like time was put into it. But at the same time, it's simple. It's nothing to write home about, as well done as it is.
Anthony, we LOVE your original idea of a comic strip about us hosts. You clearly spent a LOT of time on it and are definitely way better at Illustrator than I am (presuming that's what you used). But we took issue with how we didn't exactly resemble ourselves... and as an ad, it's a bit too tacked-on at the end. Your sales pitch was also weaker than several o the others.
Anthony: 210 points
Shawna: 200 points
Courtney: 192 points
Yau-Man: 181 points
Brenda: 152 points
Chelsea: 146 points
Jen: 83 points
Angie: 6 points
Anthony, I'm going to need your choice of who is going to Deception with you and Shawna. It can ONLY be one of the people who did the challenge: Courtney, Yau-Man, Brenda, Chelsea, or Jen. The sooner, the better!
Things I need to do in the next hour:
-Post Tribal
-Post your products at archive site
-Make Ambo Ovambo tribe flag and usergroup
You should be expecting all of that soon

The winner is...
EMPEROR ANTHONY WINS IMMUNITY AGAIN!
He scored 210 points to Shawna's 200.
