With my design, I borrowed from the desert to come up with a minimalist advertisement for the Kalahari. I find the landscape to be striking and haunting and lonely, and tried to convey that by just having the greeting over the picture, with no other words to distract from the natural beauty of the place. I picked the fonts to develop the evocative aspect and to highlight the zebra, one of the few large desert animals. Finally, I added the copyright to show that this is a plausible advertisement, and connected it back to the real world.
