Episode #6: A tribe, for real!

Just creating the Episode #6 thread. I won't be able to be at the challenge, unless I wake up in the middle of the night because I can't sleep. I will write confessionals tomorrow.

Thank goodness! We have tribes, finally! Wow... it's gonna be so interesting. First and foremost I think this is good for my chances at making jury at least. Now one tribe will be immune, so six and not one people will walk away with immunity each week. That is going to help a lot.

So let's get to my red-coloured tribe We have myself, Angie, Jen, Penner, Richard, and Courtney. Right... I'm happy with this tribe as these are all people (except for Richard) that I trust to some extent. They are good people and none of them (except for Richard) seems to want me gone. That's so much better than being on a tribe with Kenny, Brenda, and Chelsea who all want me out of this game.

This tribe could be a pain though. Look, I'm close to Jen and Angie, but I'm also close to Penner. I'd consider myself a little bit close to Courtney, but I'm not sure what to think of her after last week. Scrambling starts before even heading to tribal. Angie said she was all for sticking with me and Jen, but mentioned Penner and Richard as the two on the outs. I don't want Penner to go. I didn't tell her though. Jen mentioned Richard and maybe Courtney as the two who we could vote, that's better. Courtney and Richard don't like each other, that's helpful for sure. Courtney runs her mouth all the time. Hatch spread rumours about me and I still have to ask him about that... so uhm summarizing, the tribe is good, but if we go to Tribal Council then it will become messy. I wouldn't know who to vote for as Penner will probably expect me to keep Richard safe and then I get along with Courtney but fact is that she sided with Ace last round so that's really not good either. I think we'll be on tribes for a while (until F8?), so I'm sure there will be some trouble in the future and people may figure that I try to be friends with everyone and feel betrayed once I vote them out. On the other hand I feel quite comfortable with the people on this tribe.

Another thing, I'm gonna miss YauSmurfie like so much He's been the best person for me and I'm worried about him on the other tribe since it has Chelsea and Brenda. However, I think he'll be fine. He is super social and has a LOT of DV items, so he will be fine hopefully. I had YauSmurfie first on my list (that I posted with receiving the idol). This makes me think that the tribes were selected by YauMan and myself (since I do have my #2-#5 in my tribe). I may be wrong though, maybe someone else chose the tribes and is it sheer coincidence.

In the immunity challenge, a live challenge, I was late, of course. I'm from Ireland, remember? LOL not really, but Courtney asked me today and I said I was from Ireland just bcuz that's what I told other people. I'm sure I've never played with her before, but people talk, you know Anyway, my tribe did close to nothing before I got on like 5 hours after the challenge started. Courtney and Richard were on at that time, so we did a couple of moves. We started out wrong since doing the first row first was just really not efficient. Anyway, when they left I let the beast out of me and took three hours to prepare all the posts. It was really really painful, and the puzzle appeared to be unsolvable, BUT I think it was worth it. It hopefully gave us immunity and a visit to Deception Valley, while the other tribe may have to vote someone out. Someone I may not be close to, so that's gonna be goooood for me Now this tribe should be thankful for the amount of time I spent on this lol. I mean, this was again a crazy ridiculous effort to win immunity. Hopefully it paid off. I don't know yet because the puzzle may actually be solvable, but I think it is not.

So nice to just sit back for a while and see what the other tribe is gonna do I guess there will be some discussion about the stuff we got from Deception Valley today. I wonder if Penner wants to keep it between the two of us or if he's gonna exchange items with Richard. Either way works for me, it's up to him. If anyone gives me their item without getting anything in return, then I will just hand it back to them. That's how I work

I talked to Jen earlier today. Just small talk, it was nice to have some more small talk going on. We talked about work and our backgrounds. I'm not giving away what my real job is, but at least what I told her is very close to what I'm doing. I just don't want people to do the math and potentially figure out who I am. Not that it would be that bad, but you know, I prefer to play alias so I don't want anyone to figure it out.

I also had a nice chat with Brenda yesterday. Both game talk and small talk. She flat out asked me why I voted Ace, and I gave her like 80% of the truth, which is a lot. She's been told that people were voting Ace because he had an alliance with Richard. Everyone knows that's nonsense. I just said I thought he was a threat, and that I didn't call the shots on this one. The possibility to take the threat out was there; plus, Ace refused to talk game with me. I said that to Brenda as well. She was made to believe there were 6 votes against Richard. That's nonsense, I'm 100% sure. I told her it wasn't true but then she was all convinced that there were 6, so oh well I let her believe that. No point in changing her thoughts. We also had some small talk about our past in ORGs. I didn't reveal much at all, she basically revealed her entire past xD Told me about being an RPer (roleplayer, apparently), and playing ORGs since January. She's been in 8 in three months, that's a lot. I don't think our conversation will change my opinion on her game-wise: she's not with me, even when she repeated that she prefers to keep the real players for the end game to make it all interesting, she's not with me. I don't believe her. It cannot hurt to chat and to get to know someone a little better though. She's a cool player, not afraid to say what's on her mind. I like that.

Today I'll be on the whole day, so I'll probably have some more conversations. It's been a long time since I talked to for example Shawna, Chelsea, Alicia, and Kenny. Can't hurt to talk, but I never see them on.

Yeah... your timezone again. I personally talk to Chelsea a lot since she's on at night. I have a huge log with Brenda and I talk to Alicia sometimes but I think her Internet is down again. And I only talk to you when I see you... which is less often given the few things I do need to take care of. Time zones have to exist. My dad doesn't believe that but his idea is... nuts.


Any opinions on what might happen if Kiwano should go to Tribal?
Any idea what is happening ar Ndebele?

Yeah my time zone xD People who go to school are usually the hardest to catch online. Looking at the birthdays of those three (they're probably fake), they probably go to school (or work, but my experience is that ppl who go to school are the hardest to catch somehow). When I go to bed, they sign in Glad I was able to talk to Brenda for more than 5 minutes though.

Hmmm when we go to Tribal, then... I don't know what's going to happen. I think one possibility would be to get Courtney and Angie to vote Richard out. The other possibility is to get Richard, Penner, and Angie to vote Courtney out. (in both cases it would be Jen and me doing the work ) I think my personal preference is to get Richard out, but that option is more risky since Penner will disagree. Penner may shoot for Angie to go, which doesn't really work for me since we connect. I know that Angie probably doesn't deserve her spot based on the game she has played, but honestly I think she's a sweetheart who would not betray me. I may be wrong, but she doesn't seem that type of player, whereas with Penner and Jen, I'm not sure. They are super nice and great people, but I don't know them well enough and they could turn out to be villains (going to assume they are not, but I'm still a tiny bit wary). Angie is not a villain, just a little flaky at times .

Anyway, if it's up to me then it's gonna be Richard or Courtney. The other three are simply not an option for me. Things change rapidly though, and there's prizes. It's gonna be really really messy for sure, and it wouldn't really surprise me if somehow I am the one who's targeted. I feel comfortable with most people on this tribe, but you never know.

On the other tribe, I'm not sure. Yesterday YauSmurfie told me that Alicia bombed the challenge, and that Brenda mentioned her name for the vote. That's the only thing I've heard. Based on that, and the fact that Alicia's been kinda MIA (probably due to her internet like u said), I think it's gonna be Alicia. I've never really known where she stood, so I can live with it. She is a really nice and sweet girl though, wish her internet was up and working because going out for that reason just really sucks.

So now I'm hearing that they are most likely going to blindside Kenny. At least that's what YauSmurf thinks is going to happen. I really hope it does happen, because if HE is blindsided then O-M-G I'm going to panic. Let's keep faith though. Kenny's target is probably Alicia who will most likely self-vote. I'm fine with Kenny going. I really like him on a personal level, but fact is we haven't talked in a while (I think he's a lot busier than he was in the beginning of the game) and he wanted me gone. Looking at this cast though, I'm thinking that the challenge threats (Ace and Kenny for sure are challenge threats) are getting booted way too early. That can never be good.

One could say that it would make it easier to win challenges, but really, there will be live challenges (one or two) and a creative challenge, and those I will.not.win. Others I may lose too, but like I said with the bigger threats gone the target on my back is only getting bigger. At some point we may be left with what YauMan called " the little ones" . I think he meant those that are not as threatening as others, both in challenges but especially strategically. Some are more like followers who play a good and clean game but don't stick out as much. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. Kenny definitely was some good competition and while I'm not gonna be sad to see him go since he was after me, I'm also thinking... hmm... I'd rather see someone else go

LOL turns out Richard may be in Michael's game as well. Not sure, but they signed in at the same time on AIM and then I went to check their birthdays and they have the same birthday with 1 year apart Okay if it's him then he's probably a pretty loyal guy.

So we talked, and I asked him about that issue with Courtney. It was all a misunderstanding. Can you believe that? Arghhh that's so frustrating. I'm happy we cleared that up though, and because of this I know that both Courtney and Richard are good people. It will make the vote a lot harder. So first was hi. Uhm no. He doesn't know how to start a conversation. Then I asked him that stuff, see:

So this looks real to me. This is real. It was really just a misunderstanding. Wow. Then we talked about votes and stuff and he let me bring up names and I carefully brought Courtney up to him. Don't like doing that at all, but I did it, and he knows that if he runs to Courtney then Courtney will run to me. So it is what it is... here's the rest of the conversation:

Adding to that, I feel relieved that I have made it to the jury at least. That's the first goal I had in mind, because jury is in general fun. Next goal is probably Final 9, meaning I'd have to survive the next two rounds. That should be possible, but this schedule worries me:
- Creative (tribal?) challenge --- I suck at being creative! Especially if it's writing.
- LIVE auction --- no prizes for Anthony
- Semi-Live challenge --- ok ok that can be alright actually.

On the other hand I'm just enjoying the thought of being on the jury, having so much fun, and having such fun people around me. Like really, I like them all a lot. Plus, sorry Richard for what I said about you under my false assumptions!!
