I LOVE Battle Royale too... that was a really good concept! but there is so much more to the Hunger Games. Yes it is about kids unwillingly sent to a large arena and fight to the death... but after that, pretty much everything else is different.

And don't be scared off by the "love-triangle" type thing they are heavily advertising... that is barely a focus in the novels. It's touched upon every now and then, but it is no where near the central plot.

Well, yes. The other reason I haven't read the other two is that when they first came out, I walked into the bookstore, picked up the first one. Read the back, said to myself "This is just like Battle Royale." Without reading the book, I predicted who would win and what would happen afterwards. I then proceeded to pick up the second book, and all of my predictions were right. I think followed that up by predicting what would happen in the third one, then read the back of that, and was right again. I read the first one anyway, because I like that kind of thing.

While I don't 100% know how the story ends, the fact that I was able to pick out several prominent plot points based on literally nothing but assumptions really made me feel like I shouldn't waste the money to buy the others...

then just borrow off a friend! there are of course main points that would have to make the sequels possible, but there are also several main points you will not see coming. I was surprised by a lot of the things in the second one, especially the ending. You can obviously tell what the climax will be in the final book, but again there are several main plot points that are unpredictable! give them a chance Parv haha Battle Royale was predictable too... well it was to me at least lol.

So some of these people want to keep Angie and take out Crystal.... your kidding right? Crystal is actually an active member of this cast where as Angie is not, she didn't do the challenge, i've never seen her on AIM a lot where as I haven't even talked to Angie, i guess it's cuz of how stupid she is they think that she should go, I find that dumb but w/e we will see how it plays out.

Haha. We'll see. I'm busy working through the Harry Potter novels at the moment (Midway through book four. I'm a huge fan of the Dursleys, if only because I laughed hysterically when they told Aunt Whatsername that Harry was attending the School for Incurably Criminal Boys, because it's so completely and unnecessarily cruel that you can't help but laugh), so once that's over I might feel the need to give 'em a try.

In other news: How does that make you feel, Brianna? If you disagree with how the decisions are being made, do you think you'll try to do anything to change it?

I do however have concerns about the vote, there were a ton of random votes out there (penner, chelsea, colton, kenny) and then the Alicia self vote..

Why is concerns me is that the people who weren't told by Michael (who was the person who came up with voting out crystal) could now all form together, because of his stupidity and the side that voted crystal could all get booted, but i do not know if they have the majority or not, ill double check later, but I need to make sure everyone still likes me so i'm not that first target lol.

But with Alicia's self votes this round it probably makes her the next target to most people, but no offense if they wanted to keep Angie around over Crystal (Angie has personal problems right now, I understand but she can let those problems get in her way of actually playing the game) then I might try to pull off my own blindside and take out someone i don't like perhaps Colton??

Also I might pull an all nighter for this endurance just to show that I'm not bitch to mess with teehee

So in attempt #1, proboards "post reply" button didn't work and made me lose at the 3 hour mark which pissed me off but oh well we got the extention so im going to try again tommorrow to get my shread and win immunity because i don't want to look weak to these people and an easy target,

So here is how today's events went.

-I come home try and do the challenge, proboards breaks down, i get 1 post and look like the crappiest player of all time.

-Results are posted: Ace wins yay! Anthony wins, makes himself look like an even bigger threat, yay!

-Everyone decides to get rid of Alicia

-Michael changes his mind and wants to vote out Shawna

-This Block figures out that Michael is aligned to Angie and Alicia which is why he wanted to keep them safe

-The Block changed the vote from Alicia to Michael

-So we had another group chat last night and were all like "we can't let anthony go to deception valley again he already has 2 things" oh look we didn't stop him from going again instead we helped him *claps* some people in this game are seriously not playing smart enough right now which really surprises me because by our non related game talks they are intelligent but when it's game they are fucking stupid

-In the chat people brought up the idea of voting Angie or Colton because they suck,,, no doubt about it but if we are stuck as individuals shouldn't we want to keep them around? that was the #1 priority in my head when they brought it up but i kinda kept it to myself and instead brought up Courtney who has sucked in challenges but is at least a bit more social, I lose someone who could possibly be a threat to me down the rod and they get what they want in voting out someone easy. I also brought up the poinnt that if we ever do get into tribes (preferably both tribes would have one easy boot (unless somehow Alicia, Angie, Anthony and Colton managed to get on the same tribe) which these people thought was a spectacular point so im not sure who we are going to vote just yet.
