I'm happy I was sober last night. I don't feel so good as it is. I will start checking people in tonight. Also: Expand the cast to 20: Yay or nay? The sound of a horse

J.P. - that's pretty much what I was thinking. I was thinking of adding an early elimination challenge myself, though likely in round 2 or 3 to prevent us from having another Jim or Alexis.
Still, Deception Valley does not grant immunity, so we won't have any "spare teh inactives" this time.
I'm leaning towards casting 20 and doing that elimination after a round or two to get rid of some fluff. Because we have that many qualified applicants... and we don't know who will be inactive...
Or maybe just to stick with the game plan. 18 usually works best anyway.

Or maybe just to stick with the game plan. To me that is the #1 priority when running an ORG game. You set everything up in advance and then sit back and let the game run it's course. Once you start changing things to create a better game or "get rid of inactives" you undermine the integrity of the competition. Once a game (any game, not just ORGs) loses it's integrity then there really is nothing left to play for.

Okay then. I'll be sticking with 18 this time. Last time this happened (Jiuzhaigou), I expanded the cast to 20 and added a "Round Zero" challenge - something technically added before the game started, which I thought would be okay. I do have everything planned in advance, as always... let's just hope this goes more like Turkey did than GTI and that we don't have quitters that make me scrap challenges again. Now that I'm feeling somewhat better... I can throw together some avatars

I recognize Michael's, but that's because I was in a recent season of his series he hosts. Also loving his confessionals so far (and I'm going to continue asking other people which games they played in, to see if I know them too. )

btw, Jen is Jenn* I am aware, but she's going by Jen with one N, so that's why I've been using that.

I also recognize Michael/Odvetar, not the biggest fan but I'm sure he'll play well into the twist. Also anybody who picks Colton, I hope they fail.
But seems like a fresh cast, I feel like i've seen Courtney before also...
